Dr.Jacob Joseph. Assistant Professor(Law) Contact No. : 09847970233 Email : jacob.lawteacher@gmail.com	Dr. Jacob Joseph obtained his LL.B. and LL.M. Degrees from the Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, India. He was awarded the Dr. V. Kesavankutty Memorial Gold Medal and the Prof. R.V. Kelkar Memorial Prize for his outstanding performance at the LL.M. Degree examinations of CUSAT. Dr. Jacob started his teaching career in the year 2002 at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata. He has been teaching at NUALS since 2003. Mr. Jacob has conceived, designed and offered courses on "Food Law and Policy" and "Fisheries Law" which are novel contributions to the Indian legal education landscape. He has to his credit publications in reputed law journals and he has also participated and presented papers in several national and international conferences. He has also authored a book titled "Select Legal and Policy Instruments on Marine Fisheries Conservation and Management". He is regularly invited as a resource person for the capacity building programmes organised by various institutions and organisations. Dr. Jacob is a member of the Commission on Environmental Law (CEL), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). He is also a member of the Zonal Institute Technology Management Committee (ZITMC) (South Zone) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Dr. Jacob is a Member of the Board of Studies (UG). He is the Faculty Advisor to the NUALS Moot Court Society. Mr. Jacob also serves as the Honorary Director of the Centre for Law and Agriculture at the NUALS. Dr. Jacob offers courses on Legal Methods, Law of World Trade Organisation, Media and Telecom Laws, Environmental Law, Food Law and Policy and Fisheries Law.
