The new campus of the University is coming up at Kinfra Hi-Tech Park, Kalamassery. The University will be shifting to its new campus in the 2011 – 2012 Academic year. The University is poised to welcome its new batch of students (2011 admission batch) on to its new campus at Kalamassery.
The new campus would have two hostel blocks – one each for boys and girls. Construction of the two hostel buildings are in their final stage. The triple occupancy rooms (bath attached) would have a cot, steel cupboard, chair and table. Besides the triple occupancy rooms, each hostel has a common room, dining hall, kitchen and facilities for indoor games. The hostels will have mess facilities which will be managed by a ‘mess committee’ comprising of inmates. There will be a Hostel Administrator in each hostel and he will be responsible for the day to day management of the affairs of the hostels. Besides the Hostel Administrator, there will be a Warden attached to each hostel.
